how do you remove the shifter nob on a 2000 saleen mustang.

Unscrew the cap at the base, and loosen the allen bolts. It should slide right off.

I've used a Pro 5.0, and a Roush/Steeda Shifter, and the Triax is the way to go!. It has to be the most accurate solid shifter on the market today. If you get a really good deal on the Roush shifter, it's the exact same as the Steeda Tri=ax, but it isn't embossed with the Steeda logo, of course. I know of way more people who use these 2 shifter vs anything out there. Just my .02
