I don't think the guy ever claimed it was anything but a view of his speedometer thru a couple of gears, how much more glamorus can that get? Its not the clearest/best angle video I have seen, but a speedo vid is a speedo vid.
No reason to bash someone for posting up their first vid. Have you ever tried to do any editing/posting of videos? Its not as easy as it looks, let me tell ya. The first vid I posted took me hours to edit and get in the correct format.
How can you bash someones vid and then expect them to have a good additude about it? Moreso, how can you bash someones vid and then cry when they say something bad about you/your car? (even if it is the truth lol)
