Yeah alot of times those lockers are pneumatically operated, they can be locked by using air pressure into a tube that goes into the differential. inside the differential is an air operated device that locks and unlocks the wheels for traction. and LSD is a limited slip differential also for better traction, but you would not want to "lock" your wheels on the street...lol you have a hell of a time turning a corner...lol probably would break your drivetrain.
Since were on the subject. Is there a big difference between the Auburn limited slip and the traction lock limited slip? or is the auburn just stronger
So the only upside to it is less rebuilding of it. One question about the detroit. I heard it makes it affects cornering? What is your experience with it. Im thinking im gonna get rid of this t-lock if its worth it
the lockers aka posi.. or positive traction.. both wheels spin all the time.. basically your ass end will skip across the road while turning , unless your on the gas abit.. then youll be spinning out on your corners.. LSD, allows for rates of change in your rear end , like taking a corner the inner tire will slow down, and the outer will speed up.. , but in a straight line both tires will spin in sync

a locker locks the rear wheels together, an LSD aka t-lok, posi, sure grip w.e makes both wheels turn until you go into a corner and allow them to spin at different rates
