I don't have an SVO, but I wish I did. I do have an '84 coupe that I'm restoring and I haven't begun on the exterior yet. I personally like the coupes better than the hatchbacks, but I like the SVO more than the other Mustangs so I figured I'd try and get the best of both worlds and slap as much '84 SVO exterior on my coupe as possible. Recently I've seen headlight rings, fiberglass hood, hood scoop insert, turn lights, parking lights, front bumper, emblems, decals and side rubber strip. A while back I saw a fiberglass headlight reinforcement panel and the side skirt (flares) but I can't find them anymore. I haven't seen the sail panel or spoiler, which wouldn't work on a coupe anyways. I'll have to fab those up on my own or do something else. What else would I need? And where can I get this stuff? I'd really like to use as much aftermarket or non-original stuff as I can because I'd like to leave the original stuff for the real SVOs. I'm considering learning how to fiberglass so I can make more of this stuff so other people can make clones or put their original stuff in a safe place so it doesn't get wrecked. thanks, mike

Just to make it clear, because I've run into issues on another forum, I AM NOT attempting to part out any real SVOs or use any original SVO parts. I'm trying to use only aftermarket reproduction parts. If I need a real part to make a mold so I can make more after market parts, then I'll do that and resell the original part to someone with a real SVO. If I run into anyone parting out an SVO, I will report them and/or try to buy the entire car to save it. I also learned that making clones is discouraged. Aside from liking the looks I would like to show it to as many people as possible in attempt to make the SVO more popular so that reproduction parts might be manufactured once more. I'm a fan of the SVO and I only have good intentions with my project. If anyone feels that I am doing more harm than good, let me know and I will reconsider my project (I'm going out of my way to do it anyways).

Svpu.com makes repo head light panels and adjusters. You can get the headlights at 50resto.com. I beleive svpu also has the body flares/side skirts you asked about.
If you come across svo seats that are out of another car then use them. It's not like your cutting up an svo. I had people give me **** about taking parts off and svo that was in our local pick and pull. Bottom line is do us a favor and avoid buying from the svo butchers. If you find anything for sale and want it then have at it. Good luck
I have a set of back seats. My friend's dad has a whole svo that was t-boned hes selling parts from. He already sold the front and back seats. The engine was rebuilt awhile back. He said he will only sell the engine whole. If anyones pissed off about this car being parted out, keep your mouth shut or buy the whole car to sit in your front yard to collect rain and rust.
