Battle of the V6's

Do any of you V8 owners get the occasional V6 Stang owner that puts on flowmasters and rims/tires and rear bumper with emblems saying that his V8 is faster than your V8?

It happened to me last night going home from work. If any of you are familiar with northeastern Orlando, I was on 17-92 turning right go to onto 436. I was sitting at the next light, and this Mustang pulls up beside me, boomin' bass, girlfriend in the car (ugly chick...wtf? hah), and he turns it down, so I turn mine down.

Him: "Nice piece of sh1t Accord you got there buddy"
Me: "I was about to say the same thing about your V6"
Him: "Oh no man, you got it all wrong, this is a V8, see the badges?"
Then he revs it and by golly...where did the V8 sound go? He had Altezza's in the back too *gag*...
Me: "That sounds like a V6, there ain't no volume in that thing!"
Him: "That's because you are beside me"
Me: "Yeah, whatever"
Him: "Lights about to change, wanna race so I can smoke your V6 Accord?"
Me: "**** yeah"
So I turn my music back up, launch from idle (so I don't spin, yay for FWD), and off we go.
Immediately off the line I jump a car on him, hit second (he was a 5spd), jumped about 3 by this point, went up to about 95 and called it quits, not sure how many car lengths I had on him by then. We get to the next light and he's pissing and moaning...

Him: "Dude, you ****ing cheater!"
Me: "How am I cheating?"
Him: "You are spraying nitrous aren't you?"
Me: "No, I would have told you"
Him: "Let's pull into the gas station, I think you are lying"

So we go there, and as you can probably guess, wow...I'm not lying.
He sees my intake, checks everything else out, inside my car, in the trunk, under the car, you name it, he looked everywhere. By this point, he's pissed and finally says that his car is a V6...and I pissed him off more by saying that he can't trick me lol.

But seriously, have you guys had that where someone claims their V6 is a V8? The sound is so much different and the body is different, rims/tires, the setup just ain't there of a V8.

Yeah, just today I was behind a V6 that had a SVT emblem on the back. Was funny stuff. I made it really obvisous that I was laughing at him and drove off.

No hasnt to me but!!! We have alot of people in the army who purchase the ground effects and stuff and the dual exhuast so you think its a V-8. Im glad you dusted him....Good job.. Next time dude dont pull over way to many freaks in this world.

he probably is now heartbroke cause his ugly bitch left him. i hate it when people make their car out to be more than it is. when i get my new plate it is gonna say "fast 232". and i will be able to back it up. i should have a blower by then.

I have Z28s rev at me once... and i had this old school chevy pickup with rust all over it drop a gear on me, so i dropped a gear, revved out 3rd and walked by him...

over by me all the time got this one kid in a Z28 6cyl. haha he revs the motor and will chase you but if u pull up to a light he won't do anything. He says its a show car. Hahaha
and a kid who bought a 6cyl. 99stang. cobra R body kit and dual exaust. rocks it like its an 8!

i dont see many subaru guys doing that, but there is a couple v6 stangers around that have the pipes. one even has a shogun body kit. i respect the sixxers if the driver has a sixer attitude. 300hp mouth<300hp motor.

14s in a stock 04 accord? i did not know they were that quick. but i had my car in the high 14s stock.

Yeah...03-04 Accord V6 with 6 speed tranny is doing 14.4-14.6 stock for most people. I gained .2 from just CAI. Can't wait for new catback exhaust money and hiflo cat money to come in. Along with a J-Pipe and pullies (if those ever come out).

It was kinda funny to see the look on his face as I pulled on him HARD in first gear, I couldn't keep the tires from spinning. I also need new tires, I'm still on the stockies and the stock 17" rim.

I love picking on people that have V6 camaro's or stang's and think it's a V8 with all the exterior sh1t they do along with exhaust...so fun. As soon as I get exhaust and new rims, I'm going to debadge and take off the V6 emblem on the back of my car. Hopefully people will think it's a 4 banger lol.

my girlfrind has a v8 ls that is modded like crazy. it is the ultimate sleeper. no one expects a fast lincoln.
