Hate to sound like a jackass, but I saw that color on an '07 GT 'vert a couple of weeks ago........seems more yellowy(new word!) than the original, with a funky pumpkin hue. Sorry, I don't mean to offend, just thought it would be more orange, although I think goldenglory18 has a good eye, it would look much better with the tungsten colored stripes. Forgive me for bashing a S197

I still don't know if I like it or not. I know it would look better with some Mach1/Boss style black accents though.

Saw one in Tulsa, all orange is too much, if you tone in down with some black stripes, rear louvers, shaker hood, etc. IT IS AWESOME color.

That is a Saleen Parnelli Jones Limited Edition 302 mustang. The color is brighter than the Grabber orange that Ford is using on the 07 mustangs............and looks 10 times better IMO.

Yea, I saved them from the thread you posted them in a while back. They are the only decent pics of the new color that I have seen on the net.

I like it, but it does need some stripes to tone it down, and I don't like stripes.

That is THE color to make a kick ass mustang with the cervinis M1 or B9 body kit.

Love the color, but it does need something extra to make it look 100% awesome.

+1

I'd love to see someone do the Cervini M1 or B9 kit to one of the new Grabber Orange stangs. That would be sweet.

TB147, The one in Tulsa was a Saleen PJ clone I believe, take a look at the sides and the back, no stripes, no tail chrome trim, etc. I believe it was a modified GT. I was not aware the Saleen PJ was different then the Ford Grabber Orange, thanks for clearing that up. I noticed the G.O pics I had seen look darker then the Saleen pics.

Yea, you're right. I couldn't tell at first from the front profile pic you put up, but now that I see these angles..........it is definitely a clone. It's not a bad job they did.......but the rims and ducktail seem out of place IMO. I also prefer the GT500 styling of the PJ's lower front facia to what these guys did. I also would have left off the number decals.

BTW, here is a really shoddy photochop of what the PJ Saleen would look like minus the number decals:

I drove by the dealer awhile ago and saw one on the lot, if my car was paid off I would have traided it right there.
