Looks kinda halloweeny. I never liked black and orange. Silver and orange would set it off!

ORIGINAL: pitpup I'd be interested in hearing your source, ThisBlood147. 'Cause if you've based your statement on what your eyes tell you, I think you'll be in for a bit of a surprise. Gotta source? Here are two shots of my car. SAME car. Just different light sources. Grabber is a very tricky color to photograph WELL. Thoughts? Observations? No source, I just based that on my own personal observations. But having seen a few more G.O. mustangs in person.........I do have to retract my statement regarding the tone. When I made that post I had yet to see any G.O. mustangs in proper lighting.........which does play tricks on the look of the car. You are right about it being difficult to photograph well.....but I have noticed that the tone of the orange tends to "seem" brighter on a car with black accents like yours or the Saleen PJ edition. The solid orange ones do appear to have a more dull tone........but thats just an illusion. "But"....it is the reason I feel this color looks better when broken up with some black trim, as you have done. Sweet looking ride BTW. P.S. Have you thought about going black with your spoiler and rear badge panel? That would complete the look nicely

Have you thought about going black with your spoiler and rear badge panel? That would complete the look nicely I liked the Honeycomb insert because it matched the front grill. Then I cleaned the front grill for a car show. No way I was adding more work to the back. Thought about having it painted, but then I stepped back and looked at the car and decided this: The Steeda stripes fade from black to orange. (All the black is concentrated in the front...) By the time you get to the back, the car looks 'right' being all orange. The stripe, IMO, sets the tone for the rest of the car (if that makes any sense). Obviously, I love the '70 Bosses and Machs, but decided not to hit the back (neither spoiler nor panel) with black. I want people to think about those classics when they see my car without actually driving a 'tribute' car (not that there's anything wrong with that!). Thank you for the kind words. I cracked 5,000 miles today. Lovin' every minute of seat time! Stan

That very much describes the Need For Speed Underground 2 Mustang I created. Interesting game. Here I was a late 40's guy 'drifting' so I could reach the next level to get my Stang. I also had a Tungsten with pearl flames, lol. Haven't played the game for prolly a year. Now that the car is here, I'm thinking eBay...
