Default Anyone else going to convert there GT into a Shelby GT???

I'm going to try my best to copy one...the only thing is I have a torch red car. I have the 18" bullit wheels. All I need now is the ford handling package, power package, silver stripes, shelby badges, shelby front grill, california special front clip, mufflers and crossover pipe and the shelby hood scoop...wonder how much this will cost me..hmmmm.

Are you going to include the side stripe? I know some people have quite an aversion to that type of mod but to me it sounds like a fun project. I am sure it will cost you alot less than an actual GT500. Are you going to add a supercharger, is that part of the power package?

are you trying to make it look like the new Shelby GT (see photo), or do you mean the GT 500?
If you mean the Shelby GT, might as well put in an order for one.
But a GT 500 clone might be cool. Put in a huge motor too! Maybe a 428 or 429?

^^^
I agree. Don't bastardize the Shelby or Mustang Cobras. They are the holy grail of Mustangs.

Guys, I just wanted to point out that he is making a "Shelby GT" (which is the Hurst model available for the public badged as the "Shelby GT"). I don't see a thing wrong with it since you asked!

i think a copy of the version of a car is fine so long as it's not badged as one. i won't be copying it though, i prefer my own style. btw, i believe boy-racer hood is available now, fyi [8D]
