Thanks Tim I'll get the hang of the picture posting sooner or later.

Hi Jeff,
This is 4stangsgirl... Seen you at the shows in the past... Great car.. By the way if you want to downsize your pixs open the pix, right click on the pix and click on "open with", click "paint"... this will bring your pix up. Go to "image" scroll down to "stretch/skew" change the horizontal/vertical from 100% to 35%. This should allow you to post your pixs...
Any questions, let me know....
PS, you stated you had 475RWHP? Wow! was that on a dyno jet? mine was done on a mustang dyno and got 451RWHP with 434lbs of torque. If I had done it on a dyno jet it would have probably put out 30-40 more HP.... I had my done at AED Performance.
Thanks for the help everyone. I was not present during the dyno pulls, however, it was on a dynojet dyno at Laracco Motorsport in NJ. If you look close on the Cervini Ads in the Mustang mags the actual dyno graph is posted along with my door tag build date 10/14/05. Next time I seen you I'll show you a full size copy. I have been told the car would dyno over 500rwhp on the mustang dyno. Its all just numbers to me. The car will go a lot faster than I care to. And by the way My family and I really enjoyed the VIP treatment at Fun Ford Weekend. Thanks Steph! Friday they are going to have a Mustang Parade at the Chesterfeild Co. Fair unfortintally I can't make it. I'm at the beach.
Mustang dyno - dyno jet numbers does anyone know the hp relationship between the two? I have heard from different sources the mustang reads higher and I have heard the dyno- jet reads higher. I was told that the Saleen E and the C 500 are very close. Then agian who cares. I'm not racing mine. The true story is on track anyway. The best dyno is a time slip. Jeff
Richmond Ford Buyer backed out! The car is still there along with his 5 grand. Here is the story I got. The buyers wife had recently inherited a million dollars. During the auction I noticed she was fairly upset at how things were going up. I was also told that when he was in the sales office he requested to buy 3 more at the same price making a total of four. Oh that’s about $320,000 give or take. I know this is very hard to believe. He thinks the Shelbys will be selling at a 100 grand next year. His plan was wrecked when he got home and all of his belongings were out side. I guess she is a lot smarter than he was. He has now ordered one from another dealer for 20k over sticker. I suspect he has moved back home. I remember an old saying “a fool and his money will soon be parted.” This time $79,000 did not hold. Second place bidder rejected the offer to purchase at his own bid as well. Time will tell. I hope Ford makes about 100,000 units. Then they would sell for what Ford says they are worth. (sticker)
It amazes me that people think these cars are going to appreciate in a short period of time. He still got robbed at 20k over and his wife should still be pissed.

He is still in for $70,000 with $20,000 over sticker and his lost $5,000. That is a crazy story. I am in sales, can you give me this guys phone number? I have great deal for him! lol
WOW....I said in a "not so quiet voice" at the auction "Are they nuts?!". Then, mumbled something to the affect "a fool and his money....". Unbelieveable story! I just knew who ever purchased it was going to regret it when people started talking about how DUMB a price that was for a $45K car.
Already heard about two other 500's going for around $45K price.....I hope the guys gets the chance to get all 4 cars; a valuable lesson can be a humbling experience. Typical story of the guy who won the lotto and was broke within a year!
With all the hype surrounding this car and the sheer aggrevation of not being able to even order one, I went and got a Saleen and don't plan on looking back at this car....for any price (well, maybe not any price). Just plain "over-rated" and Ford has "created" a market for this so-so vehicle in a hot marketplace. Hot today doesn't mean hot tomorrow. And, I'll bet, they lost many willing purchasers by this marketing plan that constantly sees the production numbers going higher and higher.
I fully expect to see at least 20 of these running around the Richmond area within a year; hell, we've got 3 EXTREMES within 30 miles of me!!!!!
How about marketing the Shelby something like this. First from a dealers stand point its all about the money. The money comes from a strong client base. (I think they forgot where the money comes from) How about the dealer having a lotto say $100 per ticket. I suspect a large number of people would be willing to risk a hundred bucks to win the right to purchase a Shelby for sticker. Take the proceeds from the lotto and donate to a charity like Saint Judes Hospital or MDA. The dealer would make the normal amount of money on the sale. The people who lost would feel like they were treated fare and money for the ticket went to a good cause (not greed) The dealership would develop a relationship that is good. The publicity for the dealership would be positive and not one that shows greed. If any dealership takes that approach they will win me as a client for sure. I'll buy my ticket or tickets and be happy win or lose. Over the last year and a half I bought about $200,000 or so in Ford vehicles. 04 E350 van used, 99 Navigator used, 05 mustang 6cyl new, 05 mustang gt new, 06 mustang new, 06 Five hundred Limited new, 99 mustang gt 35th anniversary edition used and a 05 F250 super crew lariat powerstroke new. That made no difference with Sheehy Ford they still wanted 20k over sticker from me. They just lost my business. No dealership will survive on selling Shelbys only. Shelbys have sold and will sell at sticker. I suggest everyone only purchase any ford vehicles truck, car of fleet from dealers that have proven not to be greedy. That is what I'm going to do. I'm just having trouble finding a dealer that is not greedy in the Richmond Va. area.
Last night at approx. 8:30 I saw the Shelby leaving the dealership. I was on my way to get my son from driving school and the dealership is right in front of his school. I wonder if someone bought it? Maybe the third in line...

He showed up with a certified check then was turned away. Maybe no.1 guy came back. We will know the truth sooner or later. Look on the floor next time by amd let us know if it is there.
