on my way to work yesterday I saw a yellow mach 1 about 7 cars behind me on the 3'd lane to the left I was at a light at the time and I"ve been wantin to get a light w/ the new mach's for the longest time so as the light go's green I let him hear my exhaust when he was all the way back there and as I looked in my mirror I saw him weaving between lanes to catch up 2 me...the light ahead turns red so I brake hard and move into the left lane and let him get into the middle..this is the funny part...as I look over I c this older guy maybe in his 50's ( he looks like one the old nascar racers) he even had a nascar hat on ..he just looks over at me and says "whats up" and I said "hey" light go's green we both didnt launch I was waitin for him to get the jump then 2 seconds later after leavin the light he nails it so do I were dead even in first gear.. second were even at the beginning but then he jumps half a car at me so my nose is at his door third gear I totally blow it and miss it ( I posted this problem in the general tech section) I find third and keep even w/ him I'm about a car and a half back now I then grab forth and actually start pullin a little bit when I'm far back but I c his brake lights as he shuts down...I kno I could have beet this guy 2 if it werent for my shifter problem..the mach had some mods done to it...exhaust done for sure but Idk if it had anything else..
second race...this one happened when I was coming home from work last night..I'm cruising home got held up at a stoplight and I didnt even c this guy in the right lane but as I left the light I was shifting at 3k on the tach (which btw sounds freakin awesome w/ the packs! lol) and then I c these hot headlights in my mirror the guy cuts left and blows past me it was an infiniti G35 I wasnt gonna play his game I just kept cruising but the light way up ahead turns red and the G35 is already half way there so the time I get there the light just turns green I get into the clear lane and let the guy hear my exhaust then again the guy get's into the clear lane and attempts to do another flyby I thought 2 myself I'm letting this guy do it this time ...so I down shift into third and the guy blows past me still! I get to the top of third hit forth and then start to keep even w/ him shut down about 100....I get next to the guy and give him a thumbs up and its for asian dudes in the G35 lol I thought it was funny..anyway turned out to b a pretty cool driver...
Idk if that G35 was stock cuz maybe the have a better topend but still he was pretty darn fast and I usually pull on cars once I get into forth...and it's really weird cuz when I race from a role it's always 4th gear that I start pullin on ppl even thou when I downshift into third I'm just even w/ them then once I hit 4th thats when I pull..I've always wondered y...

Sounds like a lot of money for not much performance. If I spent the money on a twin turbo kit, I would expect at least low 11's. 12's aren't that exciting.
Can you at least up the boost with a boost controller? That would make more sense.
