there is a certain lack of intellectualism displayed in this country and captured very clearly within the posts in the "silly black men" thread. edititing the posts to remove what were very clearly racist comments treats the symptoms yet does nothing for the problem - not that I expect you [tripsev7] to be responsible for that. i feel ashamed for being a member of this community.

too anyone who disagrees - flame away if you can, i'll point out your stupidity with clarity that you've never experienced.

Ok, so my curiousity just took over...

Why are you ashamed to be a member of this community? Is it because there are racist people here, (which, coincidently, are EVERYWHERE) or because there are people who try to keep the peace by editing such comments off of the forums to take away any chance of a race related arguement from taking place?

well, in answer to your first post - you've clearly put me in my place, i acquiesce.

to your second post, because there are racist people here. you are correct - there are racist people everywhere. by no means do i have to accept it as the norm and carryabout. by my rights i can call it out and point a finger at it. in this age its sad to see.

Why is this in the videos section and not off topic? Point out my stupidity with clarity for that question?

because the post he's talking about is in here and he didn't feel like making it anymore confusing by taking up two different forums for one subject.

So why didnt he just say in his post in off topic "if you dont know what thread I'm talking about go look in the videos section for the Silly black guys thread" or whatever the thread was called.

would that have made a difference? are you so concerned about the formalities that the issue is meaningless?

i put the "sheesh" to reflect my frustration, would you rather i call you names? did you read the "silly black guys" thread before the editing? i gave props to tripsev7 for doing what he did. i just felt that someone needed to say something. not that anything will change. it needed to be said is all.

I would rather have you point out my stupidity with clarity that I've never experienced as to why this is in the videos section and not the off topic section. No I did not read the silly black guys thread because it had no intrest to me just by the name. If u dont like it why are u reading it nobody is making u read/watch it. Why are u even bothering to say something if u think nothin is gonna change? Apparently it didnt need to be said if nothing is gonna change.

let me disarm you, i apologize for the "stupidty with clarity" comment. i was angry, and thats how it came out.

however, without realizing it, you've done to yourself what i said i would do.

i read the thread because it was there, and i was disgusted by what i read. you see, there is no disclamer that "herein lies some pretty ****ed up ****, read at your own risk" i read it, and even though i know nothing will change, i still feel that i should say somthing. that is our right in this country in case you didn't know. that is why this is a great country.

#1 Let me ask you again why did u post this in the video's section and not the off topic section?

#2 If you are offended by racism why would u go look at a thread called silly black guys? Obviously its not gonna be anything u would want to see if its named that.

#3 Your right it is a free country and u can type/say whatever you desire. If you say nothing will change why do you bother posting there is no point then. You should either just not post or have an attitude of when you post that you are gonna try to make stuff change. It doesnt do any good to post about how bad something is then say but I know it will never change but I'm gonna post anyway.

per #3, sure it doesn't do any good persay to make a topic to try to change something, but he's not trying to change anything. He just wants to speak his mind about something. As you know our constitution grants him that right...but being on a privately owned forum grants moderators/admins that right to censor him as well.

All in all, he just wanted his opinion to be heard...must be one of those quiet guys at work with brilliant ideas but never talks so he sticks to his 9-5 humjum of a job eating donuts and drinking his coffee at his computer wishing he was rich.

That came from nowhere, but hell I'm bored.

Sound good Monch?

Well if hes not trying to change anything then why is he making the topic? If u want to be heard just say to yourself then u will be heard. Hell go tell it to your dog or cat or whatever they will hear it too.
