its a perfect 10, they hit well in a sealed or ported.. 1 cub per sub. you will need at least 300 rms to run that sub correctly. it also depends on what voice coil setup is .

I'd go for something with a dual voice coil myself...

Hey I work at Circuit City in the install bay and that is a good sub. It is a single voice coil and tripsevn7 is right about the RMS rating of 300 watts. I would get the Infinity 2 channel amp to push itInfinity Amp.

To push it correctly all you need is a 8 guage wire kit. The Infinity amps just came out a few months ago but they sound nice and that one is matched perfectly for that sub.

well if he only wants one sub... dual voice coil would be a nice thing to have... lil deeper magnet... more control over the ohms...

yep, dual 4 ohm vc is the way i would go. hell i will sell you one of my orion red hcca 250r's .. get it down to a two ohm load and run 450 rms out of an amp rated at 250.. here is the real kicker, find the way down to 1/4 ohm and those amps are at apprx 825 watts.. safe and stable... infinity amps are basically a jbl amp, for dependability and overall efficiency i would use a phoenix or orion amp on subs

Infinity gives awesome sound and awesome bass from any size speaker they make but keep in mind you dont have to stick w/ an infinity amp unless you feel that overwhelming desire. Look up audio stuff online itll make you sick how cheap you can find things on here. www.etronics.com
