Default Dual Exhausts

I know this is probably a real stupid question. But if you a aftermarket Cat-Back exhaust made for a GT, will it work on a V6 given you get the correct pipes made?

Both, I know axlebacks will work with correct piping. But would a Cat-Back system work with the right piping made?

Like I had said this is kind of a stupid question.
