I have an 06 Torch Red GT.
At 1st I didnt even consider stripes, I liked the naked look.
However white stripes are starting to grow on me, the wife thinks silver would look nice (not sure I agree) , and then the only only color that would work on a torch red would be black ( altough my 1st impression of them wasnt good, however 2 months ago neither were white).

Torch red with white stripes is a classic look, but it seems everyone is doing it.
I've been having the same dilema. I have a torch red convertible and I used a black out panel in the trunk to break things up. On a coupe, the white stripes look good but on a convertible, the black top poses a bit of a dilema. I'm thinking of going with a large balckout on the hood simialr to the 69 Mach 1. It would look great with a shaker hood.

Go black baby. Take a look at musiccitys ride. That thing is the beast with the red stang with blk stripes. Red was my second choice (went with blk) for my Stang.
A lot of people have gone with the white stripes. They're a natural with Torch Red. Makes people think "Shelby" when they see it.
I went with the Shelby style stripes on my '05 Torch Red GT. Mine are a bit different in that they have pinstriping on both the inside and outside edge of each stripe. Then, I added a "MUSTANG" fader stripe on the sides from Graphics Express. I just liked the look of that better than the standard Shelby-style side stripes. And then, I had "MUSTANG GT" lettering put on the windshield. My wife wanted that, and I didn't think it looked too bad either.
At any rate, here is a picture of our pony. I can only attach one picture, because the files are too large.
