I bought the car sight unseen, but when I saw it the first time I thought it really looked great. Wouldn't ever think of taking them off.

I did the stripe delete on my car because I wanted something different. Anyway I like what I did and that's all that matters.

I love the way the Mustangs look with or without a stripe. It's all personal preference just like all the different mods you see.
I'm glad to see some variations on the road. It helps keep our cars from being the same.

ME LUVS MY ROCKERS!! I think the lighter colored stangs look a lil dull without a lil accent of some kind but, that is my opinion. The stangs on here are beautiful!

homer1181, where did you get those racing stripes that cover the entirity of the car?
by the way, i love my black side mustang stripe, very retroish feel to it

I love them and would have kept mine, but the rocker stripes that came on my tungsten were black and I was putting silver stripes on it so the rockers had to go. Wish they made some satin silver ones to match the stripes i have.

I have to admit I like some colors with the stripes, others without.

I don't think mine (Vista Blue) would look good with stripes, but the white ones look OK with or without them.

Windveils don't go well with stripes either. The color is just right by itself.

Black ponys just look MEAN without them!

Does anyone have WIDER than stock stripes? Maybe that would be bolder?

I also don't like the M U S T A N G lettering... same as if someone had those decals on the windshield with the name of their car.

After all, EVERYONE knows its a Mustang!

But personal preference is ALL that matters.

sohcman you should run some white lemans stripes 10" or 12" down the length of your car... look like the old gt350 from back in the day...i think that would look really good.

Unfortunately, she doesn't have the balls to back up the added flash!

Maybe someday with a blower we can "advertise" more performance. Starting to really like the whine!

Maybe add some old Mustang badges too.

The wide stripes are nice on these ponies.

I am liking the "plain" look. Subtle, but TOUGH.

I have the painted GT rocker panels and a GT bumper (whenever I get my F'n duals - been waiting for 2+ weeks already).

Ordered right from the Pypes site, figured better than the RPMOutlet everyone said stay away from... ya right... Still waiting... No reply to my latest emails. Took my $$$ on 3/21. 4/7 no shipping confirmation yet.

Grrr.

I think the new mustang has the ability to MORPH itself by the choice of color... just like the original pony.

Lighter colors = Nimble & Fun-loving
Lighter colors w/ hood stripes = Sporty & Quick
Darker colors = Tough & some are downright MEAN looking (all black)
Darker colors w/ hood stripes = Aggressive & Powerful

Take a look at the photos side by side and you'll see what I mean.

No matter what color combination you have, they ALL look great!

I like the side stripes. I got the 07 Pony Package really for the wheels. But I'm glad the side stripes were part of the 07 PP.

There is a Black V6 Mustang around here that has Fuchsia Hood Stripes.....makes me want to puke every time I see it! In case you didn't know, Fuchsia is a pinkish, purple color.

I was on the fence regarding these stripes. I added a 1/4" pinstripe a 1/4" up from the factory stripe and one a 1/4" down on the bottom side. Also added an 1/8" stripe to the middle of the factory stripe. Really dressed it up and goes good with the SS hood stripe from BSM.
