Run him again, and again, and again if necessary to get the point across. Slow car owners live in a dream world of being a 9 second ride. They want speed but cant afford it, dont know how to get there, or simply are stupid and think they are faster than John Force.

One of my favorite put downs is; "If your car was half as fast as you think it is, John Force or Warren Johnson would be asking YOUR advice"

SVX is a heavy grand touring car. 240ish hp from a 3.3L flat 6 through a 4 speed auto. I owned a Legacy with that 4eat, and the thing is murder for power.
SVX will cruise all day long at high speeds, but it takes a long time to get there. It's supposed to be a luxury grand tourer, not a sports car.

I must admit that all of the SVX's I've seen are all in a lot better shape (ok except the one that rolled) than comperably old Mustangs.

For a fast car though, I'd take a mustang.

Yeah no need to get your panties ina  bunch, just blow his doors off downhill.. And of course because you have more torque you won. Torque is what wins drag races. Its what accelerates the car..  tell the ricer boy he is slow and always will be slow, untill he gets a real car.  Dang I sould like a jerk,,lol but it strue.
