"05 Gear Ratio Question

I dont know if this is a stupid question but I must ask. Does anyone know if the tranny gears of an '05 GT be able to fit and be installed on a "05 V6 mustang. I have someone who offered me his gears for my V6 and I wanted to know if it can be installed. If anyone can give me an answer on this it will be greatly appreciated.

your rearend is too small - ha ha ha ha that sounds funny but it's true. those gears are for an 8.8" rear. Yours is what? 7.5" or something.
