I have an 89 LX 5.0. i'ts been lowered an 1.5 and has KYB gas shocks and struts along with sub frames and a four point cage. Even with this stuff it still wheel hops on luanches at the strip. Need help on curing the problem.

How stiff are the valves for the rear shocks? Springs load? And traction bars DO work wondrs.

I have a bad wheel hop problem to , but i am stock so that is probally why...

i had the same problem til i put on traction bars, moroso trick springs, double adjustable upper control arms and adj. lowers with lakewood 50/50 shocks and i have no wheel hop.  i have no quad shocks either. i hope this helps some.

I figured out my wheel hop problem the quad shocks are worn out..

Waitaminute...a 4 point cage? That's it? Weird.

Try dropping in a 9". Solid axles are soooo much better for the drags than IRS (handling is the opposite.)
