this could be a tough question to answer but please help out! does $6000 sound like a good price for an 89 5.0, stock 302 with 17,000mi it, and almost every part is less than 3 years old on it including all suspension, transmission and motor accesories. it is a 5spd.

Its probably 117k or 217k, doubtful its actually 017k... What aftermarket parts does it have on it? Check the floorpans, and the rear suspension mounting points for rust. Drive it and make sure it drives and goes into all gears good.... Dont just jump on it, especially at that price, seems quite high, as a matter of fact, double what I normally see them go for... I paid $2700 for my 93 GT with 93,000 and leather interior... just FYI

Do a carfax on it and if the car had to go through emissions the mi. will be posted on there. Check the shock towers make sure there is no rust check the quater panels to see if they were replaced or fixed inside the door jams and fender wells you have to look close its hard to see if any rust is there cause the inner fender well hides it. When i pulled my fenders off I found all kinds of problems with rust fixable but a headache. How is the hatch is it clean underneath the lip and bottom of the doors.
For $6000 this car has to be mint cause I feel that is on the high side
