Probably the only thing I dislike about my 05 is it doesnt have a compartment for loose change. I didn't care at first but since I drive tolls and get fast food quite often I realize how much I took that for granted. Where do you guys put your loose change? Is there a mod I can add that will give me this feature?

I toss mine in the Armrest Compartment but for some reason I never seem to hit those holders, more on the bottom of compartment then in holders.

I don't see the holder in the armrest you guys are talking about. There's a plastic cover that pops out inside but that doesnt look like a storage compartment, it looks like it goes into the car.

look at the very front of the inside of the arm rest. there should be 3 tubes on the side that allow you to put change in

Once I install my Single DIN head unit I'll have a nice bin underneath for change, wallet, sunglasses, etc .... Currently I use the cup holders for everything ...

This was taken for another purpose, but you can see what they are talking about....

hahaha ehhhhh....... funny you ask..... august 24, 2005. was driving to work in my 2001 Black Mustang Gt Paxton Supercharged Novi 1000. came up to an intersection on back windy roads. the road i was on had to stop signs but the road that intersected had signs. came around the bend where the 2 roads meet and i can see a semitruck just sitting in the middle of the intersection. so instead of probably dieing and hitting the side of him, i decide to go off the road and slame into a tree totalling the car. guess what the truck driver did.... drive off. my dad probably a week later came back from AAA Auto Garage with parts from the stang..... be brought me back the grill.... a GT emblem.... and my cigarrete trash cup that i use as a change holder (since i don't smoke). it fits perfectly in the front smaller cup holder and its black

I throw spare change in the smaller of the 2 cup holders. In the larger one I put my Razr phone in. Works great for me!!!

I put my change in the large, cup holder, but it rattles alot from the exhaust, bugs the crap out of me. I keep my razr in the little lip below the stereo, it slides back and forth though, need some kind of rubber piece for traction.

I put mine in the armrest compartment, every time I go somewhere and get change, I put it in there.

My old car had one of those, and when I traded it it, I filled a shoebox with change. Was over 150 bucks when I had it counted at the grocery store machine.

Usually I get about 100 bucks twice a year that way.

Those tubes don't do a great job holding the change...I resorted to a small zip-loc bag in the armrest, for neatness

Bought an ash cup off eBay for $19 and it fits good in the front cup holder. Holds all my change.

I store mine behind the driver seat as that is where it all falls out when I am sitting. Just pick it up and put it in the armrest when cleaning.
