One more question since you have vinyl... and it looks pretty sunny in that pic . People tell me they can be damaged by the sun, Fact or fiction? I live southeast FL, the sun can be pretty brutal most days.
I did hear wax can build up on the edges, but that isn't a big deal to me.
I see it now, but when I first looked at your gallery they looked like a flat white, must be the light.
I have a 10 inch set in antique white sitting on my counter, it's killing me not to go out and try to install them now. I'm going to wait and do it myself in sept. when i'm on vacation. I'm not confortable with any places around me doing the stripes, they might do a worse job than me and then i'll have to fight with them to redo them. I was told $150, but i'm not sure they've ever done stripes on these new mustangs before.
My car is the same color as yours.

Stripes are Satin Silver, 10" wide, 4" gap.
As far as what the sun will do, only time will tell. The Vinyl they used on mine (3M) is supposed to have a 7yr warranty against peeling and fade.
By then I will have had them painted so it won't make a difference.
You should ask if they are just painting the stripes on, or if they plan on clearing over them. If you want it done right, they should paint the stripes on and then clear the entire body panel (hood/ roof/ trunk/ bumpers) so that it looks uniform and there is no bump if you run your fingers over the stripe. But that treatment doesn't come cheap, quotes in the 2500-3500 range are normal for this. If they are just planning on painting the stripes on with no clearcoat blending, I wouldn't waste the time painting them. Just go the vinyl route.
I had my 3M stripes put on 1 year ago and it ran me $600-700. The place I had it done specializes in vehicle wraps. It took the guy that put them on all day. They said it was a pain in the a@@ to get everything lined up correctly, but they did a great job. I ran into a guy that had painted stripes and it ran him somewhere around $2,000-3000. All of these prices are out here in So Cal, I don’t know if that makes a difference. In my opinion, the positive about vinyl is that you can always remove it, although if you have the budget I would recommend getting them painted on. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong!

Maybe, but the permanent stripes they will leave behind sure will look weird, while the rest of the body has faded somewhat. All depends on how long you wait to remove them.
Those are called ghost stripes, some might think of that as a positive as well.

The front bumper has me worried, any tips you can give me? I also have their stripe kit and it looks like the stripes might stretch when removing them from the backing. Did you run into any problems with the stripes other than the front bumper?
Thanks.

I got my stripes from baltimore street mods, and did them with my wife. Cost $143. If wasnt hard, except the front bumper.
Gt--- My dealer had two painted ones on the floor. They did not have my color choice or I would have had them on the Gt I purchased. They said it was $1,200 and they would have my car for 3 days. I only saw one big strip down the middle with pins on each side of the big stripe. looked pretty good.
