If it were me, I would use the money for the supercharger to build me a V8 first.

1)With the money you spend getting a S/C, you could prolly build a N/A 331 that will take that S/C v6. And 2) your VIN will still be for a V6. Why do you think there's a lot of guys buying 4 cyl foxes and swapping 5.0's? Insurance doesn't have to know it's a V8. I don't know, to each their own, but I'd rather have a V8

if you get in an accident and the insurance sees it they can cancel your claim

Be careful, lol

Do what you want, I'd rather have a V8, not that you don't know that already

insurance companies suck, i don't understand how why they don't put restrictions how much insurance companies can charge you. if you have a couple of points on your record (or 8 like me) they feel they have to charge you up the @$$. it is rediculous! i think i have paid enough court fees and fines and don't need to be further raped by insurnace companies because i got i little crazy when i first got my liciense. on the brighter side less then a year to go before my record is clear.

I pay $58 a week (easier to budget that way for me) for insurance, and I've only been in 1 wreck

Cincinnati, on my Saturn.

I totaled my first car by falling asleep at the wheel (at 3:30 in the afternoon of all times ) But hey, I got a better car outta the deal, and a stick.

But man...those insurance rates...they killin me.
