They already design the 05 cobra? I thought the 05 was a GT and still in the concept stages....GL on getting yer ride though. I would stick with a GT being young and all. Its more then enough power to get the p****. Throw a few aftermarket parts on it and yer screamin. Even the v6s are sweet if you custom the engine out ALOT. I (and Im sure most stang owners) give lotsa respect to those v6's putting out 500 hp off of turbo. Saleens are over rated and a rich mans easy way to get a nice stang. You can take a GT and get much more outta her for the same price you pay for a saleen. Roush is a really nice looking kit to have on yer car. The side skirts and pipes are definately nice to look at. Then theres Steeda. The company that most peeps dont know about. If you ever heard of the Cobra "R" then youd know that Steeda is the one that designed most of the body kit. They have side pipes also and are pretty much a strickly auto-cross race car. You can take an 03 GT and spend 3k on the body kit and x-haust and get the same VERY impressive look. Its the other 60 grand yer gonna have to spend tryin to after market the performance of the R.

Kid i dont know wheater to beat the hell out of you with a damn ricer intake or give you advice. As far as an s281E those cost around $60,000 since you apparently cant read prices on a website. As for the rest of what you said i think your just blowing hot air like alot of people on this forum. You want some advice though ey? Get mommy and daddy to buy you a honda so you can put dem spinnas on. Nevermind that would still be too much power for a little punk like you. Go watch The Fast and The furious some more since dat be where you derived most of your vocabulary and car knowledge from! Dawg!

Im suprised a ricer fag like you spelled roush correctly. How many times dide you go to the site to see how its spelled? As for you and everyone else who claims saleens/roush mustangs are "hard to get" its not a difficult thing to figure out. But since your a little slow heres how it works: step1-go to www.roushperformance.com or www.saleen.com step2-go to find dealers and fill it out. step3-when you find the closest dealer write it down. step4-go to the dealer and find a car there that you like or get them to order you one. step5-give them your money. step6-drive the car off the lot(this step might not be possible for ricer fags because their driving skills arent up to par as they tend to wreck it before its off the lot, but its okay cause mommy and daddy will fix it.) its that simple okay!

I recently purchased an 02 S281E with 500 mi. I have just now gotten it broken in, and have started to drive it under some boost. I have driven an 03 cobra, and the S281E seems to have a fatter powerband than the cobra. It seems, no doubt, faster than the 03 cobra. -And for those of you that say "for 2-3k the cobra is way faster", for the price of a pully and a chip or MAF tuner (under 500$) the E car is just as fast if not faster. Yeah, the cobra is way less $, but it's also way less car. I feel sorry for all those poor cats that paid above sticker for their o3 cobras. Wait 2-3 years and see what those cars are selling for on e-bay. If you buy a saleen, regardless of model, it will hold it's value much better.

I've never driven one so I wont pass judgement but IMO, it's just a maxed out GT. My 03 Cobra has mild mods which includes exhaust, intake, an L pulley, and Predator tune but I'll bet that it will hold it's own against a S281E and PROBABLY beat it outright. Also why buy a S281E when you could get a 03 Saleen Cobra that has WAY more potential? I just dont see a S281E making much more HP than it already does. I've seen 03 Cobras w/ KB blowers, and coilovers with around 800 rwhp with money left over for a few hookers compared to the price of a S281E. In addition, Saleen doesn't exactly have the best reputation in Quality and Customer Service. Regarding the resale price...Who would ever buy a car soley for it's resale value? Good luck with your purchase, it's a beautiful car but I think the value sucks. I'll stick with my plane Jane 03 Cobra with 460 rwhp (and climbing). Pyrro37908.4425347222

-I guess one thing i neglected to put in my column was that i paid 22k below sticker for this car, so i do and will have value in the car. I'm not trying to rip on people with 03 Cobras, it's a phonomenal car, but if you buy a Saleen right, regardless of model, value holds better. I absolutely agree that anyone that pays anywhere near sticker for an E car is foolish, and would have a hard time believing that any mustang is worth 70k-that was sticker on mine.- (save an SR) -And i know Saleen can be a pain in the ass to deal with. -Also, the E car is VERY moddable-ie smaller blower pullys. Realize the series v Lysholm twin screw blower is capable of 24 lbs of boost-(v similar to a kb blowzilla in potential)-both cars, the 03cobra, and the E, are capable of huge hp (if you loose that Eaton on the 03). Roots is good, but screw is better.
