Apologies accepted, LOL! Ya the Ford guys always use the "safe" response, "ital void your warranty if made something break". About the only thing that will void a warranty w/o braking anything is an after market tune. Problem is all the Ford guys have to say is "that mod caused it to brake", like taking your air silencer off made the left rear shock blow, lol.
AND DONT TAKE EVERY MACHANICS WORD FOR GOSPEL!!!!!!!! I brought my service van in for standard maintenance. I always wait for my vehicles & hang around the garage. The dam mechanic couldn't figure how to lower my spare tire for my 5 tire rotation!!!!!!! I said to him "excuse me you dont f'in know how to lower my spare & you expect me to let you work on my vehicles!!!!! He said "well Im a Subaru mechanic & they just moved me over to Ford". I went & got the service manager, reamed his ass out in front of customers & employees & told him to get a Ford certified mechanic on my van. Then I went into the owners office. Its bull crap you think qualified people are working on your cars @ the dealers & then see **** like that. Then we trust them to give us vital on on our cars.
