36 years old, no points, no accidents. I'm paying $537.00 every 6 months for a 2006 V6. I have a $500 deductible. I'm in N.J. which has high insurance rates.

My insurance jumped up after moving from northern VA to Florida. Then it jumped again when I bought my GT. After totaling that (RIP) and buying my V6, I'm sitting at around $200 a month. That will surely go up in a couple months, since that will be about the 6 month mark. That's with me being 23 and full coverage (100/300/100 and $250 deductable) and I think I still have a speeding ticket on there from back in college. I'm hoping they don't hike my premium too much, that'll be less money to spend making her go faster...

~$960 thru State Farm in Michigan every 6 mos., I'm 25, have one accident from 3 years ago, so supposedly it doesn't go against me. That's for full cov., liability, collision, comp.

I'm 21 with a clean driving record. Bought the car 1 month before my 21st b-day. Allstate wanted to charge me 400+ a month for full coverage on the 06. They told me i would receive a price break at 21 but it would still be around 325-350 a month. He let me put it under my father's plan with full knowledge that i would be the primary driver. I turned 21 in may and am now paying $111 a month.

Through Farm Bureau, I am paying $465 for six months of 100,000/300,000/100,000, $500 deductable, I am 32 with a clean record.

As soon as a ticket drops of your record, call around and get some new insurance quotes, and if you find a better deal, switch. Once I had a ticket and an accident go off my record and by switching I saved $80 a month.

I hate freekin Allstate, one time I got insurance through them, they charged me $350 first month, then $200 per month. After 1 1/2 months I cancelled and purchased insurance through another company for $120 per month. Then after I cancelled they sent me a letter saying that they had made a mistake when they had previously calculated my insurance and that they had undercharged me. They said I owed them another $500!!! I was like WTF!!! I still have never paid them, I was 19, and am 32 now. can you imagine thats over $1,000 for just 2 months. And this was for liability insurance insurance only!! I had a lot of tickets just got my license back and hadn't had insurance in six months, this was on a 1967 RS camaro.

I'd almost bet that $500 was their cancellation fee in disguise.

Mine is $580 per 6 months and that is here in Los Angeles. I have no points, no accidents and I am 27. This price is pretty low due to the fact that I have a company car for work and my Mustang is insured for "pleasure use".

Got to reading this post, started thinking "Man, I am getting HOSED by my insurance company!"
So, I go to both progressive and geico. Both are more expensive than my current policy with state farm... WTF!

I am 32, no tickets, no accidents, no claims, married, homeowner - the works... I have been very good (as far as they are concerned)! Still runs me about 520 every 6 months. Full coverage, $500 deductible. BASTARDS! I wonder why it is so high. Maybe people in Alabama just can't drive.

And what REALLY sucks is, with a $500 deductible, you don't really want to get anything fixed either.

Funny this thread came up, I had to pay half of my policy today...

Like I said(I think), I'm 46 and $403 for full coverage doesn't sound like a whole lot better than $520, and the deductible for Me is either $100 or $500, I'm not sure now.

Actually We all are getting hosed by really bad drivers possibly I'd think.
