Paint them, you can buy caliper paint at any auto parts store, and it will look lots better.

r0ckster 99GT was that the brush-on paint kit? Looks real good with the caliper centered in the wheel slot. My 07 stock wheels do not show enough caliper to bother painting them IMO.

I would rather paint them and have them protected, better the elements on the paint than on bare metal. Just my thought.

The duplicolor kit at wal mart for $17 I mentioned was for the brush on.
I didn't use it though, I went with the duplicolor engine enamel w/ ceramic spray paint. $4 rated @ 500 degrees
I had nothing else to do over the weekend and saved a few bucks.
It took a little longer to do since I had to tape ( blue painters tape) and cover up everything I didn't want
paint on (put on 3 coats) but the results were just the same. The whole thing took me maybe about 3 to 4 hrs.
We're are just getting into the second week of august, winter is off a ways yet so go ahead and paint them now crmstang.
Anyway with whatever procedure you decide to use you will still enjoy the results!
