Steeda Chrome-Moly LCAs
I just installed mine today. I just lifted one side of the car, removed the old one, popped the new one on. Getting the front on with the supplied washer was a bit of a hassle. Anyway both went on with a semi-breeze. It's more trial and run, you work on the first one so you know what you're doing by the second one. Anyway, I think I might have torqued the first one down too much, the rear portion seems like the metal is curled in (Not on the LCA) but only by a degree. Does anyone know if this is ok, or if it will present problems?
I took them for a test run, just an easy drive hitting bumps and stuff so they can move around. I did try and do a launch but the tires were cold and it's in an open place near many houses so I didn't want to stay for too long. I revved it between 2-2500 RPMs and it spun the tires, I might have dropped the clutch and hit the gas too fast, I dunno. Like I said, I still need to work on the launches. I like them, they seem lighter then stock and shedding needless pounds is always a good thing.
If anyone has any suggestions please proceed. I also spread the supplied grease all around the fittings so I don't know if I missed a spot or whatever. So far no squeaks but they have less then 5 miles on them. lol. Now time for Swaybars and such.
