Well, I have heard everyone here talk about them, and I finally met one.

Cruising on HWY 100 tonight and spot a black SRT, so I follow. Naturally he wants to go from a 40 roll, so we take it to a back street and let the cars fly. It was bad. You know, one of those where you get beside them and just gas it and let off, gas it and let off, and you still beat them. Well, he has his girl in the car so at the stop light he says "Swing it around, I will show you what this car's got". So, now we go from a dig. Not pretty. I just pull and pull and pull. End up about 4 cars up in 4th, so I just stop in the middle of the street (it's an industrial area, no cars at this time of night), and he pulls along side, and says, and I am not kidding "See, you didn't pull away from me". I gotta tell you guys, every other SRT owner I met has been totally cool, but this guy was something else.

I raced another SRT-4 later, from a roll, and he actually almost kept up, but didn't get a chance to go from a dig, or talk to him, he had tint, and only rolled down the window enough to stick his hand out for some reason.

You must come from a place where those "Typical" SRT owners are scares. Because I see a lot of them, and therefore do not race those guys anymore.

Even if they have legit reasons and the ability to spank my behind real good. Typical "bad screws it all up for the good" ordeal.

Well, I am an SRT owner to, and I just couldn't believe this guy, lol. Even after I told him I had one, he was still acting tough, until I told him it had a GT35R in it, then not so tough, lol!!

Nice kill man. I've only had two run ins with an SRT-4s. Both guys were pretty cool afterwards. A friend of mine owned one a while back and he was a pretty cool guy.

I just ran into my first SRT owner that I could talk to. He worked at the liquor store and when I was pulling up he was leaving work but he came back to talk about cars. He didnt want to race but he said he dynoed at 270rwhp and like 350~tq. Those cars really are impressive but just not for me.

Good kill Stan..

However, if you knew they were at such a disadvantage over V8s why would you buy one and soup it up? Why didn't you just look for your Mysta Cobra you want?

P.S. Its looking like Friday or Saturday that I will have my car back.. Maybe Sunday morning to run them if you have yours? I have to work all weekend but I don't start till 3 PM..

As bad as some SRT owners are,I think the Cobalt owners,as a hole, are worse.I'm almost ashamed to admit to owning one after seeing some of the stupid trolls that have come on this fourm!
