Just to make sure, I checked my mileage book (gotta keep it for work) I drove -
242.2 miles on 8.534 gallons=28.3mpg @70 mph
231.4 miles on 8.518 gallons=27.1mpg @70mph

most other trips 25 mpg. These trips are from grand rapids mi to southfield mi, including trips to lunch.

And you hammer it every single time? Or is it normal driving? Because that is just so not the right territory to be in with a v6 when you are driving normally. Or a v8 for that matter…

I tried driving as slow as my grandmother and the highest I got was 14.8. Most of the time when I drive its around 10mph stop 5mph stop 10 mph stop.... until I get to the freeway. I live 7 miles from work and takes me almost half an hour to and from work. Maybe that's another reason why I'm getting such a low MPG. Manufacturers should add another MPG rating on cars. We should have Highway, City, and So Cal Cities.

I've been getting around 23-24 with mixed driving and I'm not babying it either. I did get about 28 on 1 tank that was mostly highway driving and early shifting.

I feel for the so-cal guys, 7 miles to work and 1/2 hour drive-damn. I go 25 miles in 30 minutes. 60 mph for all but the last 4 miles.
