Here are some pics of a 97 Cobra that I did today. Was very oxidized with many swirls and sratches. Also had bad waterspots. Looks like a new car now! I used a Poorboy's claybar,SSR1, SSR2.5,Pro Polish, and topped with EX-P sealant. The last pictures shows the waterspots before but I couldn't get the swirls to show up very good. Now the hood looks perfect!

Got the last coat of wax(3 coats sealant, 2 coats wax for now) on and it looks awesome. The color and the light do not lend to decent pictures that would give the finish justice.

I apply all polishes usually with an orbital. I put sealants and waxes on by hand.

My 02 E is happy with Mobile 1 synth 10-30. For wash, polish, etc. try looking into these products......Turbowax.com and master-formula.com I use their products all over my car. Work great! Another "trick" that most people overlook is to clay bar the car. It gets out all the impurities. Try this: put a sandwich bag over your hand and lightly run your hand over any painted surface area. Then use the clay bar products and do the bag test again. Smooooth as butter!

I have come to realize anything that can only be bought thru the internet and not a auto zone is usually good stuff. I definitely agree with the clay bar. Smooth as butter.
