Well mabey by being on this site you will decide to UPGRADE to the Ford Familly! Before the mustang I had a 1997 Camaro, untill it spun a rod bearing.... I will NEVER attempt to work on an LT1 or an LS1 again! Half the stupid motor is under the dash! Great engines, Great cars, an absolute BITXH to work on!
below are some pics...

i'm gonna have to disagree with you on that one! ls1s are the easiest engines to work on besides a chevy 350 , but the ls1 responds the best to mods! now an lt1 is the biggest pain in the ass ever to work on, believe me i will never ever ever own an lt1 b.c. they are bitches to work on! the mani reason we're doing all the ls1 conversions is they are soooooo easy to work with, and i don't want a fleet of all the same car (ie 98-01 fbodies) so a conversion to an ls1 gives me some variety and an easy engine to mod! believe me the lt1 and ls1 are nothing alike!

Nice ride Love the color. As for your 78 TA idea, itll be a powerful car, that I dont doubt, but traction will be the hardest part of that car. Ive built a couple of older TA's and they dont hook up for anything unless you put in a 4-link. At any rate Welcome.

oh trust me, the older cars are basically being completely redone. new frame, new suspension, new everything, they'll look like 70's trans am , but in everyway else wont be
