I just had CHE upper and lower control arms installed. They look like a tremendous improvement over the stock parts. The rear seems to sit just a bit higher. Traffic was too busy on the way home and I didn't get any hard launches in. But, I'll try again tonight when I go out.
I was going to order these from Powerhouse, but ordering directly from CHE saved me over $20 in shipping.
One thing I did notice was some rear end whine had returned... similar to the whine after the gear install (which eventually went away). Anyone else experience this after a control arms install?
I'll let ya know how it feels after a few hard launches...

Fixed or adjustable LCAs?
whoops... forgot to put that in the first post... both are fixed length... you can get both as a combo for a bit of a discount.

A few miles on my CHE LCA's now, and haven't heard any whine.
Might be a rear end issue because mine is stock still. I wouldn't imagine its anything serious though.

A little whine is common when you go LCA/UCA. I noticed it especially with my UCA install. The more suspension upgrades you put, the higher the chance of transfering road noise into the cabin. But worth it in my opinon, just crank up the music, and get those good ET's.

I was beginning to wonder if it may just be the UCA...
But like Rygen said, its pretty common with the LCA/UCA's, although I heard the problem was with certain brands. (No complaints here :))
Well, I know that I won't be installing the UCA because you need to lower the gas tank [:o]

The whine seems to be a little less this evening. I'm really not worried about it.
Did a couple hard launches tonight. Just giving it full throttle without a powerbrake didn't have the usual squeeling take-off... instead, it sounded like the tires just grabbed. Powerbraking, I could get it to squeel the tires pretty good... but, it hooked up much sooner than without the uca/lca's. I'm impressed! Can't wait to get back out to the track!
