Does anybody have a programmer for the '07s yet? I know that the car is the same as the '05s and '06s, but programers tend to be year model specific. Also, which one's are the most popular? I don't have any mods yet (except tires and wheels), but I am considering an intake, exhaust, programer (obviously), and maybe a little laughing gas. Is there anyone out there running nitrous on a '05+, and how well is it holding up?

I did not like my stock 2007GT so I now have a C&L racing CAI and XCAL2 from Evolution (around $600). It definitely woke my car up - especially when running the 93 octane tune. I think Fred said the 2007's have more throttle control than previous models. Ask about the high RPMs after a cold start though. I hear its an emissions thing that can be fixed to some extent with the tune, but you will have to ask about it. My car runs at 2500+ RPM after a cold start for about 7 seconds which is annoying if you're trying to sneak out of your girl friend's driveway (or a cop-laden bar parking lot) at 2:15am.
If you only buy one after-market item for your car I would say a computer tune is the most important. You really can't do much to increase HP without a tune anyway so you might as well get the computer first. The nice thing about just a computer tune is you can easily take it off before going to the dealer.
I think he meant, better response time, not as much throttle lag!?

God, I hate that. That's the biggest drawback to these cars. At least I can just slip her in neutral and roll out the driveway and down the street a little bit. God I love hills

More throttle control? What does he mean by that?
He implied that the 2007's are even more sluggish than the 2005 and 2006 models. My 2007 GT manual was unbearable before I got tuned. It felt just like driving a turbo. A different example is if you down shift and blip the throttle to get the RPMs to match the wheels before engaging the clutch, half the time the engine does not change RPM at all.

There is a lot of lag even when I free rev my '07 GT manual (put it in neutral and tap the gas). I hope tuning it takes care of this horribly slow throttle response.
