I have been offered 8,500 for my car and a part of that offer is a 2002 Blue GT with 64,039 miles, power everything, all the options, 5 speed... I will provide the pics I have been given on the bottem of this post.
The cars price is $12,995 BUT since it is a dealership I am hoping to get that more into the 9,500's (My car was 13,599 when I bought it and we talked them down to $10,000).
make sure you take of the bra so you know what is underneath. FYI, that is good advice for many other situations as well.
I was going to take the bra off if I bought it anyway, doesn't look good to me ... But I didn't even think to take it off and see if they were hiding anything, will do.
He wants me to schedule a Test Drive with him, but I haven't driven a stick in 2 yrs and I've forgotten everything except how to start it!!!
Just got off the phone with him and I can see this deal going down. He said someone offered them $10,000 for it and unless he ups the price it's not happening (I can only hope he doesn't up the price!), he said tomorrow he can try and swing by my house, appraise my car, bring the paperwork and do all the negotiations over here. If all goes well he will drive my car back to the dealership and the GT will stay here. He said a ballpark figure on my car would be $9,500 and he will give me the final appraisal tomorrow. I am hoping to be able to get that $9,500 and talk him down to 11,000 or so ... Which will make it very easy to purchase this car ...
Just got off the phone with another dealership about a 2002 Black GT, price is $13,950 STRICT... He said he won't go any less than that because that's what they payed for the car... Unfortantely, I won't be able to buy this car (The other guy at the other dealership made me feel more welcome, even said he will get it as low as he can but the $12,995 was about the lowest he could get it ...). Car looked nice, but that's a bit too much for me .
Man I'd jump all over that deal... Here in Pueblo, CO the dealers are really proud of the cars they sell... Got to go to Denver to get a decent price here...
Saw a 2002 red vert GT at the Ford dealership Thursday, it had 49,000 miles on it with a price tag of $21,000.00.... Too much...
