What do you mean the car has no value??? This is the first modern car to wear the great Carroll Shelby name. It may be the last too, so I think the value of the car is, and will be incredible. Plus, I don't think Freewilly is worried about the value of the car. He'll probably never get rid of it anyway. your not the only person that wants that to happen. i know of about a thousand people that want me banned but as long as i follow the rules im safe.

im just dissapointed in the car because again its production numbers. the fact that its so heavy and the fact thats its slower than a c6. other than that the car is great. i met carrol shelby at barrett-jackson and talked with him awhile. i got to go for a ride in his red convertable. the car is fun and its definatly the fastest mustang in production history but ford needs a car that will beat the corvette not compete with it.

It won't be the last Shelby made. The Shelby GT won't be the last Shelby made either. Neither will the yet to be officially announced Shelby GT-350... but maybe the last Shelby to be made will be their 600 HP model (GT-500KR??).

Yes, Shelby motors has confirmed they will be making a GT-350 as well as a 600 HP car.

Sorry to burst any bubbles... but to me this is good news for the Mustang world.

I say i have to agree with you. But, the Mustang is still so popular that Ford dont care to do a 600HP car. Now if ppl just stop buying Mustangs they might, but you know Ford, They would quit production than give us more power.

yeah david k is right..they really need to start putting bigger numbers in 08..when the camaro comes out and the new mustang model comes out to not compete with the camaro but destroy it. gt's should have 400-450 hp..and the v6 ones just put like 250 hp...imo. cobra that comes out that year maybe 600 =P.

I have read a lot of reports about the Camaro, and I really doubt Chevy will do anything with it. In one article, they said they were considering the car, but they would only produce it if they could sell 150K of them. I know that doesn't seem like much, but so far I think the numbers for the mustang are aroun 170K sold, and it's sales have always far exceeded the Camaro. It's really about the women... women like Mustangs... and Mustangs like them. It is cool when a woman says "I drive a hot Mustang convertible"... but just sounds lame if they say "I drive a Camaro". Maybe I am biased... nope, I KNOW I am biased!
