Default American Racing 18x9 Shelby Razors

Hi All,
I just received my 2007 GT convertible and already had the wheels pre-ordered before I even received the car. I ordered the Shelby Razor 18X9 wheels, from American Racing, I'm was going for 285/40's in the rear and 245/40's in the front based on recommendations from the tire/wheel company. Well much to my shegrin when the wheels were put on the wheels were a good 3/4 inch past the rear wheel well not good so no go. The wheels I ordered had a 12 mm offset, they also make a wheel with a 24mm offset...question has anyone installed these on a 2007 GT with the 24 mm offset wheel and did they fit?....I've already ordered the eibach pro spring set to lower the car so I need to know if combitation is going to work looking for infor on how this may affect my suspension/handling I'm going wit the Tokico struts, Eibach springs, Adj. Panhard bar and Panhard support, and G-trac Brace. Any other recommendations on wheel tire combo's that will fit would be great. Thanks!

You need the 24mm offset for the Shelby wheels. I have this wheel on my car and they fit just fine.

If the question is for me, I have Goodrich 255/45/18 KDW2 tires. I love the traction and handling of the tires but they do have some road noise at higher speeds.

I have the 18x9 razors with 24mm offset. They should have known the right offset before they sold them to you!

My tires also Are 255/45 18 BFG KDW2. I agree, they stick like crazy but definitely more road noise than the PIRELLIS.

Thanks all for the help. So what to you all think of running 285's in the rear, do you think they will fit? with the 24mm offset?
