Hey all,

My CD Player in my '04 gt has problems coming on sometimes. I'll turn on my car and the whole player will be on but there isn't any sound coming out (and for those about to say "Turn your volume up", I beat ya to it ha ha). If I turn the radio on and off (sometimes once, sometimes twice, sometimes 5 times) the sound all of a sudden comes on. Its really weird! Sometimes it doesn't even happen at all! It only happens when I start the car. Any ideas? It does this whether the car is starting cold or has only been off for a few minutes. Help! Thanks....

i have a similar problem.......i own a 02 V6. i turn my car on after it has sat out in the sun for a cpl hours and the screen says that i have no cd's in when all 6 slots are full of cds. i took it to ford and they said that they couldnt do anything about it bc "they didnt see it happen while it was there" which is ****. i mean take it up to ford definately, but be prepared for them to say they cant do anything about it. its worth the try taking it up to the dealership, hopefully they wont **** to u like mine did. good luck
