"I looked back and couldn't see him, them I shifted and there he was one car length back"
It sounds like at one point, the stang was in his blind spot, and as his lead increased, he could see the stang 1 car length back. I don't know what is making you upset, and not like honda people.

Um...the whole thing is bogus! comon there is no way that he beat the mustang, unless those clearcorners cut off a couple a seconds...like someone there said, you obviously didn't read it! could have been a blind spot, (doubt it) Ok not like honda people, there additude ticks me off, there always saying that they beat stuff they didn't and obvisouly you haven't read the last few pages we have gone over this before! duh! it's there additude they think a air intake and a fart can is making them run 14's. There additude not the car! And well I'm not a big fan of the car either...if u race and beat a civic no matter what there going to go and tell there buddy that "I smoked that car" like someone said before.

"I can beat that 03' cobra with my eclipse" "it runs 12's stock with a fair driver" that's the additude that they can beat anything...they have no respect...

Redline is right, the attitude from the SCC scene is getting out of control.  I know there are some good people in there, but it seems the more I meet of them those good people are rare in that scene.  For example a kid in town loves picking races with V-8's Trucks, cars he don't care.  One day he messed with the wrong car and had his ass handed to him.  Then he gets out and says oh you have a bigger engine.  WTF it was him that picked the race.  God, please god end the SCC scene soon

yeah about 85% of ricers are a-holes. they think there car is the shiet. i was driving my moms lexus the other day, and some primered early 90's teg tried racing me. i own both a '01 celica and a '00 ram air. ive been part of the import crowd, and boy do those ricers talk a lot of trash. but there are a handful of people out there that know where they stand. i definitely know my celica cant hang with my trans am, so i dont rag or even try racing one. i just like it cause it saves a lot more gas then the ram air. maybe if those ricers knew how fast a domestic can woop them, then maybe they would stop talking trash and initiating races.

Maybe chrisle, I only respect those people who aren't a-holes as you have noticed.  I work at a Car Audio store and I see the attitude everyday, and it's getting really old for me.  But with those people it's getting harder and harder not to be an asshole and not be nice to them while workingBrian30250537854.5206712963

I just wish there where some more car guys who drive imports. I know of one guy who is a car guy who drives imports. He has a 91  Mazda RX-7,  and he knows where it stands. He doent try things he cant beat. He just likes picking on civics. I asked him if he wanted to race when I got the Cobra, and  he said "Are you f***ing stupid? I cant beat that!" But, its also worht noting that his next car is gonna be a '65 mustang fastback.... At least there is ONE import driver out there who is not a ricer. But he does love his rotarys. Hell, I like rotary engines too.
my ricer co worker has a 99 civic DX. basic mods... short shifter, tannabe cat back aem intake ignition.... on a 60 shot he runs mid 15's. but on friday, his 6 psi turbo goes in. so he'll be stock except for lowered rimz, 6 pis intercooled with full exhaust. he thinks hes going to be running 14's.
NOW THAT'S FUNNY. I'm running high/mid 15's with a $7 big bore TB, $20 header, and $35 or so buck CAI.

Hampsters SUCK.

There's a civic locally with the B18 or B16 swap, whatever the hell it is with a turbo on it. He's running in the 13's.

A Civic can be fast, but they are rare. Most people who buy Civics would rather look fast than be fast. And the majority of the ppl who own Civics that are fast still have the normal ricer attitude, which leads to them losing all the resect that they had for having a fast ride. Yeah, heh, I think I finally figgured the ph*ckers out!

i think the gt's may be a tad less then 30k. maybe 28-29k. does anyone know how much insurance this car would be?? will it go up or stay the same as a 2003 stang gt?? supposedly they are waiting for the crash rating to decide the insurance cost.
