if a srt-4 was close to a cobra and the cobra was a 03/04 model, that had to be the worst driver in the world in the cobra. The GT I can see. Put a turbo on the GT then compare
for about 3k in mods w/ slicks u can get the srt-4 into the 11's ..stick a bigger turbo on the srt..and well u kno the rest
No....it takes about $7k to firmly put that car in the 11's....but who cares?
It's a turbo Dodge....did anyone not expect it to be fast?
What I don't understand is why v8 guys HAVE to respect these cars? I don't see v8 guys demanding respect for their cars? All I hear about is how "played out" the v8 scene is. I mean hell, who wants to only spend $5-6k to make a car run 10's anymore, let's spend $15k and break the 11 second barrier. Wee!!

98LS1...my bad bro...I did read on srtforums that a guy posted his numbers it was an 11.8 or something like that I dont have the link ..but the mods in his sig only came out to about 3-4k and he was running slicks..but hey what do I kno I'm only a second gear member lol

With your vehicle background, you shouldn't be impressed with a 14 second Neon either. But regardless. dead ****in on. and the problem is he is completely oblivious to anything anyone else says cause he's so busy swinging from nomo's dude eggs. my advice to you digital is to get an opinion of your own and stop thinking you're the smartest person out there. the only thing that would have needed to be posted on this thread was an srt-4 running 11's for 3-4k and that would be proof that they're badass. you don't need to go around talking **** thinking you owned people with your feeble borrowed opinions.

I own a 2002 Mustang GT and i admit i was beat by an SRT-4 theres nothing wrong with it... damn I dont see the cobras crying over the STI Giving them a Race. I admit a SRT-4 STOCK vs. a 2004 GT stock. The gt will lose but i dont think a stock srt-4 will beat a cobra. But i swear i watched a SRT-4 whoop as GT'S ass (I was in my girl friends car then. If i wasn't i would of tryed racing the SRT-4). but i swear this srt-4 was stock besdies a blow off valve I watch it beat 3 fast cars.

He never said the srt could'nt beat his stang, he said that he was not impressed be them, quite frankly nither I am , sorry it takes more than high 13-low 14 sec. to impress me, they are fast for what they are but thats it, and I don't like 4 door cars. Stock for stock a 03,02 vette, LS1 Z/ws6/ss will hand a srt-4 its ass, your talking low 13's to maybe a high 13 (if the srt is lucky and has a good driver) that is more than 1 car length, more like 4 or 5. I am not saying you did'nt see the races you talked about, but the races should not have been that close, maybe sombody was not telling the truth (been known to happen at street races).
