you wouldnt burn a 5.0.

my friend has a 5.0 and he eats supercharged gt's, but hes on bottle. if you supercharge your 6er than you would eat some gt's...but not 5.0's

You'd eat stock 5.0's. They only had ~225 hp..it changed a little each year..but 225 is an average.

Yep, right around 225 for the foxes. Some years lower than that, some year a tad higher I believe..but no more than 10 or so hp.

they do have the weight advantage though. and good luck finding a whole lot of stock 5.0's around to race.

You would kill 5.0's the fox bodies had 215 hp, an the 94/95's had 235, so yea you would kille stock an slightly modded 5.0's an even 99-04 GT's MAYBE a 05/06 GT....

my procharged 98 dyno'd 226rwhp and 267ftlbs with stock 14lb injectors

that is more than enough to put away stock 5.0's anf 4.6's

my procharged 3.8 98 runs and hides from my 99 GT Vert

a stock splitport will make 270-300rwhp with an 11psi procharger and 42 or 39's and SCT big air MAF with SVT focus fuel pump

most 99+ GT's dyno 210rwhp and 260ftlbs stock.

adding a power adder to a 3.8 will reward as much or more HP/$ as a 5.0

Yes, you will kill 5.0's and 4.6's. Likewise, just watch out if they are HEAVILY modded. Just how you can make your car fast, so can everyone else.

Damn, really bad info here. Because of Fords scetchy dynos on the old foxbodys, in 93 Ford confirmed they had lied about the hp ratings of the 5.0L and downgraded it to a more reasonable 205 hp although the pre 93s were closer to 210 hp as they had a slightly more aggressive cam. The 94-95s really put out 215 hp, although some have said that was underated from 225 hp, so it's up in the air on that one. Now the real killer comes the torque which is at 300 till 92, 275 in 93, and 290 in 94-95.
