There is this new guy here at work. Former flyboy talking sh*t. He and some employees were talking in front of my desk about his military service. He said that he would have joined the Army but... an employee interupted and told him that her husband was a former Marine. Then he continued on... "I was going to join the Marines (Notice the change from Army to Marines.... this guy is really bsing) but they told me to join the Airforce coz my ASVAB was too high, I got 95."
I'm not just about to let him talk smack about the Corps, so I butt in and told him to not talk **** about the Corps. He said that its the truth and that's really what happend and what they told me.
Later on that day, he came to me because he needed business cards and he has to go through me. I had him fill out a form with his name, number and email and asked me how to put down his email address since his account username that was given to him had the first 3 letters in uppercase. So I told him, "well you should know that the case doesn't really matter for email addresses. You should know that I thought you had 95 in you ASVAB." And he was like "No really, I did get a 95 on my ASVAB."
That evening when we were all leaving, we both got out and he actually parked right in front of my beautiful white 06 vert. His car is an 05 Pontiac Grand Prix GT and I'm a little concern that he will be talking smack about my stang and I'm just gonna have to show him off.
Problem is, my car is stock and still trying to same some dough for the tuner and CAI. I heared those Grand Prix GTs come with superchargers. Will a tuner and CAI be enough to beat this car?

In 2005, the GXP and GTP's were supercharged, the GT is just a n/a v6 rated @ 200/230. Combine that with fwd, a little more weigh, and a 4-sp auto and you've got a wein for the Mustang.
Actually, the Grand Prix GT and G6 GT we just discussed are pretty much the same car, high 15's-low 16's.
check out this site it will tell you the 0-60 times of most cars and their 1/4 times. http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
I already looked at it though and stock it looks like your beat all the way to 04. With CAI/Tune it looks like you could take an 04. An 05 would be close, probably a drivers race, but an 06 your still gonna need somethin else to beat him. Sorry that I couldnt be the bearer of good news
Speaking of Grand Prix and Grand Am GTs, you shouldn't too much trouble with them. I took down a Grand Prix with three other people in my car. Watch out for the GTP though.
I dont know... I have never seen them... I think if you did CAI/Custom Tune, Exhaust, headers, T-lok with 3.73 or 4.10, and maybe an underdrive pully you would be able to take him even if he was an 06... could be wrong though... I would definatly look into that electronic supercharger. Maybe you should start a thread about it and see what people say... I have never heard of one...
The latest Grand Prix goes like this: The GT is a Supercharged 3.8 Series III. 250 horsepower if I remember correctly. The GXP is a smallblock V8 running 303 horses. I guess the SE is just a basic 3.8. I've been in a 2005 GT with the supercharger and I have to say, that car scoots. I've never been in a Mustang with a CAI and tune, but you're running against a tough car; I can say that much.

The 06- Grand Prix GT's are supercharged and rated @ 260/280, yes. Even with a CAI/tune they'll have an edge, but it should be close. Our advantage is they're still fwd and only have 4sp autos. The 05's and earlier were just n/a with 200/220.
The '04+ grand prix gt's put out 200 HP, and 230 TP. Its the GTP's you have to watch out for. 260 HP, 280 TP, series 5 eaton 80 supercharger. They are mean machines for what they are...a family sedan.
