There is a sensor for the clutch in the factory wireing harness.  It must be for factory nav systems to know you are in nuetral.  I disconnected the mute wire and capped it now works.

Do I have to do anything to the "trigger" circuit. Some folks tell me that I have to put a big resistor in the circuit, because the stock amps only want 7v to turn on, not 12v.

Thanks for the help, I really do appreciate it!

A voltage regulator will work better than a BIG OL RESISTOR.
LM7807 = 7Volt

I dont know if it deals with the audio or what, but there is a little black box type thing under the drivers side dash. It has a 3/8" plug in for it what looks like an auxillary plug. Could someone give me an idea on what this is?

Thats the knuuter jack.

I need some help. I installed a python 990 alarm in my 07 gt. I can't get the dome light supervision to work. I have the relay hooked up like this.85 to alarm d.s. wire,86 to 12v, 30 to ground, 87 to -lt.green/yellow car dome super wire. Any ideas. The relay does work.

Okhere is my problem and hopefully one of you will know the answer. I bought a new 2007 gt 500 and I had the dealer install the factory gps (shaker 1000 came stock) The shaker 1000 with it's powered sub sounded great but now the factory gps just sounds ok and is not using the powered sub is there something I can buy or do to make this system use the sub to make it sound better?

I was in the understanding that the shaker 1000 system (woofers in the truck) WAS NOT compatable with the factory Navi unit. That's why you can't order a shaker 1000 with the Navi. You must order/buy the car with a Shaker 500 and Navi. The navi must not have the extra needed outputs for the sub amp powering the trunk woofers.

I ve got a question for you. I have the L.E.D. underglow kit and was trying to find how to bring in 12 volts from the (lights that come on when you hit your key pad) I tried taking readings from the dome lights when they come on but it seems they have 12 volts on them all the time. I guess they switch the ground or use electronic comp.  Anyway my underglow lights work fine how they are wired but they have a seperate input lead you can wire to you alarm and one wire to your courtesy lights.  any Ideas?

another note on a different subject I installed a 4 channel amp and a single channel amp to get control and power from my 2 subs and other speakers. It cost a little to hook up to the factory head unit but I didnt want to swap out the factory stereo s 500 just yet.

Use a relay and hook the coil to 12V and the dome light output from the SJB.
Then power the contacts with 12V and run the output to the undercar lighting.
