Thanks BT. That is the one, Black #73 with silver wheels. Can't wait. What is your guess on how long it will take to get to the east coast? Hopefully it doesn't get all banged up on the way.

Way, way more than that, including much of the S7 and S7 TT and their best-in-the-world components. IMHO this is like Einstein stopping by the intro physics class and I read all SAR's posts with interest.
My $.02--Thank you, Mr. Tally, for taking the time to answer questions in this forum. Your input is greatly appreciated.
Guys, check some of SAR's posts in the 4.6 specific section of this forum to learn *lots* about the Saleen superchargers and related parts.
Thanks for the compliment, it means alot to all of us at Saleen that people enjoy there cars and love the product. I look at the forums to help on questions and issues when I can,
Dear, SAR! I have some ideas for future S281E: 1) side rear mirroros painted in body color (now V6-GT-S281-SC-E - all standard black!) 2) some Saleen-style grill that almost invisibility closes great hole in the down side of the front bumper (prevention of radiator damage by some bad roads garbage)
SAR, I want to say THANK YOU for taking the time to inform/help these (and other) Saleen owners out on this forum.
FWIW Please tell someone at Saleen thanks for selling Saleen parts as parts for those of us that don't want, or can't afford a original authentic Saleen. (very beautiful cars just not for me right now in my life) Also lol a recipe to the internals of the Saleen "Extreem" and/or a 'kit' for those of us already running the Saleen S/C with upgrade but still wanting more HP.
Sorry to those of you that may be offended by my sleeper exterior look but still running Saleen parts. You each have VERY nice cars, but I just couldn't wait for an 06 Yellow Convertable S/C Saleen to finaly show up. Oh that and I like surpising those that wrongfully think they just came upon 'just' an 06 Mustang GT. 05SDI

It is my understanding all parts are available already (just not widely advertised yet). Call Saleen when you are ready to purchase. I believe the internals were quoted somewhere around the $4,500 ballpark if I recall correctly.

You should be seeing a few Speedlab parts out in the near future for Es, cant really say what at this time, however it will worth the wait. The 07 5 spoke wheel option wil be out by the end of this month, it is a little differnt look , and a nice light 1 piece forging

SAR what changes would you make to the extreme if any? WHat I really mean is what mods would you do once the warrenty has expired?
Unfortuntly a closing grill is not a real practical item for the production car, as it is to easy to fail and overheat the engine. Of all the years I have been running Saleens, we have never had a failure of the heat exchanger from road debri, now hitting something is another story. If you are worreid about it, you should just make sure you wash it out every few months, with a hose. Try to do it from the back out , so you dont just wedge any dirt in deeper. I have R&D cars with a large amount of miles in very adverse conditions without any issue to the intercooler

Not that anything SAR has to say about these cars needs my affirmation, but I have 36k miles on my car and while the heat exchange could use a new coat of paint it has held up extremely well. Some bent fins on it but no biggie. I've taken it off a couple of times and used a high pressure hose to blow all the dirt out (from the backside as SAR suggested) when the temps started running a little high on the h20, but otherwise no issues.

SAR,
It is really nice to see Saleen getting on here answering questions and helping out with things. People can't say that Saleen isn't trying. I've noticed a big difference within the past couple years with Saleen/Customer relations. Keep it up! We appreciate it!
This is probably a bit out of topic, but, who cares!
Have any of you compared the lb/hp ratio on the Extreme to other cars with the same ratio?
Dang!!! No wonder the first time I drove it I was totally hooked.
Ferraris, Porsche Turbo, etc...
Here is a short list: 2006 Ferrari F430 2006 Porsche 911 Turbo 2006 Ferrari 360 Challange 2005 Ferrari F430 2005 Lamborghini Gallardo SE 2005 Lamborghini Murcielago
BTW the Extreme has a 6.5 lbs/hp ratio.
