i like the possible setup in an 84 "Four Eye" u will need a cowl hood depending on the intake as previously stated. Buy a crate motor and go from there. Also big big thing if your serious about a 351 go w/o comps. It will take too much time and be waste of money.

You've got a lot of work ahead of you. Probably not worth it
Might be better off buying a 94-94 5.0

351w or 351c ? I know you are more than likely referring to a 351w but just making sure since it will make a difference. a 351w with w/ stock intake would be stupid so you will definetly need a cowl because of the taller deck height and preformance intake even if you get a smaller air cleaner. If you got the money buy a crate , if not ,used 351w are plentiful and mod parts are too. Swap kits are available and will make things easier. As far as the computer and all that , screw it and go carb. I don't even know if you could find an EFI 351w for a price that would even make it worth buying for what you want to do. Shouldnt be a hard swap if you carb it. you'll need special headers for a 351w foxbody application .What kind of trans would you be using ? C4 is a good choice. better make sure you got a 8.8 rear end also.

last thing your description says "351 engines " so since I'm not sure exactly which one your talking about I add this note , avoid 351m engines . 351w is the easiest and has the most mustang specific swap / mod parts . a 351c would be awsome if you had the money and could actually find one but you would be better off using the money to mod the 351w.
