ORIGINAL: Mihlrad well , basically i found a cheap car, that might be purple... like...gay purple.... its a great price, im not sure of what the actual color is till i see it, i was just told, its a dark metallic purple... and i want to get that painted into a black or red. Or white. Please reconsider your choice of either white or black because they show a lot of dirt and imperfections. We have cars in both colors. Never again. If you do, you will be spending a lot of time washing it every couple of days. Black water spots badly, even from rain, and white just shows everything. If you are going to keep the car for a very long time, then put the money into it for a really good job. If not, just repaint it in the original color because when you go to sell it, potential buyers will wonder why you picked another color. I was looking at used cars 7 months ago. I found a beautiful blue one, but the paint was chipping in so many places that you can see it was originally a white car. More questions came up in my mind. I figured it was in an accident and got a really cheap paint job and it probably would get worse. I passed on it because to me it wasn't worth an additional $2-3K to fix it down the road.
