Hey Guys! I am getting a set of coilovers on my car next week, and I am going to also install the BMR Adjustable Panhard Bar to get her rearend straight.
My question is, do you have to also install the relocation bracket that they sell? Bracket Pic In their item description it says: "Unfortunately, with the '05 model, the panhard rod prevents this. BMR has an easy solution. Our relocation bracket moves the drivers side of the panhard rod to the back of the OE mount, providing 1" of additional clearance."
Does that mean that if I don't have the bracket that it won't fit?
In the description for the panhard bar itselfPanhard Bar, it shows it on their 05 mustang with no problems.
Does anyone have their panhard on their car? Did you have to use the relocation bracket?

Check again, the reloaction bracket is for the rear-end....if you are putting on an aftermarket cover. Otherwise you can install the panhard bar with no problems. I have it, and installed it with no major issues.
Maybe I need to check my eyeballs, they seem to be failing me.

the panhard bar will fit with no problems. the relocation bracket you speak of is used if you add the cast aluminun diff cover, as that cover is thicker than the stock stamped cover.
Yeah about the only reason to get the relocation bracket is because you need to get a differential girdle. Even then It's not neccessary cause they make low profile diff girdles that clear anyway. A lot of people like the moser and you need the bracket for that.
Speaking of rear end covers. This one looks exactly like the Ford racing one but much cheaper in price. I'm thinking they may even make it for them since they look identical. Does anyone have a recommendation that won't need a relocating bracket for the panhard bar? Here's one I'm thinking about mainly because I want to be able to change the gear oil without taking the cover off as well as beef it up a bit. If you are looking to buy an aluminum diff girdle then make sure you buy a low profile one from LPW or T/A. With a low profile cover you won't need the BMR relocation bracket.
Yeah, I've been checking them out and I like the low profile TA but I'm still not sure if a relocation bracket is needed. I saw this item at RPM Outlet (I'll never shop there again) and they state the bracket is needed. If I have to I'll get one but does anyone know for sure? I'm planning on lowering about 1.5" front and rear with springs down the road a bit.

I have an LPW low profile cover on my car and I don't have a sway bar relocation bracket. Here is a pic of my rear suspension. You may also want to check out http://powerhouse411.com for suspension components, BMR isn't the only game in town.
