Whether you think I beat him or you some how are god and know it would be impossible for me to beat him (EVEN THOUGH I DID) I could care less. The fact is I did beat him and as was stated before a 99-04 V6 manual stang can run from 15.5 -16's it depends on the driver and like I said before I am a pretty good driver believe that or not too, most of you are just morons who think that your car is super fast cuz it is a GT, when the truth is you have a GT that can get beat by many stock imports even by Maximas. Granted a Maxima would smoke me it would also take you out and its a four door. So what I am saying is just shut up unless you have some clue what you are talking about.
And to the mods of the forums please lock this thread.

In your original thread, why didn't you just be up front about bad driving being the deciding factor? Do you have any idea how much flaming that would nip in the bud? Both of my Terminator kill stories contain disclaimers about the terrible Cobra drivers and I don't think they ever went past the first page.

try mid-high 15s with an average driver. i got a 15.3. not fast but a lot faster than you are claiming. i am shooting for mid 14s with full exhaust, intake, tuner and 4.10s with detroit trutrac

ok... I'm about as much a non-V6 "hater" as there is... Now here is my thoughts... I know if I make ANY kind of claims about anything on my V6 I know I will be raked over the coals and put under a microscope... I try to back up any claim with dynosheet, pictures, time slips and when possible video. Video of course is perferred since it's would take a least some effort to fake! LOL!
That being said, you need to realize that you cannot make the claims like you did and not get questioned... it's part of owning a V6! And you need to be able to give people some sort of "proof".... I'm not say I don't believe you and i'm not saying i do believe you... I'm just thinking "what kind of reaction did you expect from people"? When V6 owner make these kinds of claims he better darn be ready for the questioning and disbelief... and he better be willing and able to back it up!
i had a bone stock 5.0 lincon and it was a dead heat race with my 4.0l sohc ford ranger. both were like rideing a tricycle compared to my new edge GT. so who knows. i could take down 3.8l stangs with the ranger so i guess driver error could be the diff here.
You saying that you beat a GT is good for a laugh but to go even further by saying a GTS which is lighter than its GT couterpart is even better. I own a V6 and a GTS and I know which one I will take out for a race and it isnt the V6. However my V6 did just land a photo shoot in Mustang Enthusiast. V6's are show ponies and GT's are go Ponies.
actually my S197 V6 is SHOW and GO!!!
and of course The Mistress was a feature car in the August issue of Modified Mustangs...
yeah, us 6ers are always gonna get crap about "proof" but if what u say is true, then all that matters is that u beat him and should be happy with it. just prove something to urself. thats always better thats what im trying to do! my goal is to make my pony kick scrming stang! haha. that pony, i know for a fact! could be plenty of GTs

im not starting a fight. im stating my opinion just as many others have done. mods are allowed to have opinions and personalities too. did i ever say it didnt happen? im simply saying what you said makes no sense. just because somebody calls you, relative or not, and tells you about something, doesnt make it 100% true.
