torch, even if the GT's that you mentioned are stock and by the way you are stock too I find it hard to believe that you beat them, But hey you might have a super-wampadyne V6.

stock for stock...... yes if the V6 is a auto. like I said believe me. your V8's arent all that you think they are. unless you have a new edge or newer or a decent amount of mods.

too bad all of you live so far. I would prove my shi* to you. Then like him you would have a shamed GT. I have to go to bad cuz I have to work at 8 in the morn so you can go on bashing my 6er if you want but the thing is I know what happened and the other 6ers know what they are capable of.

ur either dillusional or really drunk but probably both

that weigh about 150 lbs more. it is an even power weight ratio. also, didn't the 5.0s come with like 2.73 gears out back or something like that?

I dont mean to sound like a a** but you shouldnt talk if you dont know what you are talking about. That is what the auto 3.8s run the manuals run mid 15's stock. Also like I said before I heard his car both at idle and when he was punching it. There is NO way that a V6 will EVER have the idle of a V8 and will NEVER sound like a V8 at WOT. They can sound good but not like a 8. Trust me it WAS a GTS.

maybe he was running on 4 cylinders??? Back when me and my buddy had Grand Am GT's(I know) he installed long tubes and a slp catback exhaust. I had a Borla catback and intake. My car was always faster than his. He had a 4 door "04" and mine was a 2 door "00" and I'm sure that made a weight difference. Anyway, he wanted to race so I'm like ok cool. Well, we lined up and he smoked me by like 4 to 5 cars. During the time I was accelerating(hey it was fast then) my service engine light was flicking on and off. My buddy started bragging about how much of a difference the mods made and blah blah blah. So I took it to the house and looked under the hood and realized my plug boot was loose so I was only running on 4 maybe 5 cylinders. I put the boot back on and I said rematch, we took it back out and I smoked the **** out of him...The look of money wasted was priceless. I never lost to a 99-04 V-6 Mustang in my Grand Am. There is no way you are beating GT's with those mods period. 99-04 V-6 Mustangs are so slow they go back in time. I was beating them in my civic when it was stock.

in road racing 10lbs is a 1/10 of a second.

May have been just a typo, but in drag racing every 100 lbs.(not 10 lbs.) of weight reduction lowers the 1/4 e.t. by approx. 1/10 of a sec.

why is everyone ragging on him? it IS possible for a 99-04 v6 to beat a 94-98 GT. rare, but possible. 94-98 GT's stock are dogs. 95 GT's were good for what, low 15's and MAYBE a 14.8 on a good day. and for whoever said auto v6s ran 17s needs to do their hw. they usually do low 16's high 15s, manuals are good for mid 15s -high 15s. i know his story is believble because i have actually beat a 97 GT but it was an automatic and it was a convertible. on top of that it was by about maybe a fender at most. so its definately possible with that and you are probably a better driver than him so i will say good kill torch.
