STOCK V6 Mustangs = slow lol... There are some v6's out there that will whoop some arse...
There are some guys that will never give any car the credit due. I had a 05' V6 previous to my 04' GT, and that thing was stout. With just a CAI and Xcal2 tune, I was keeping up with stock new edges... Anything can be made quick (hence the video everyone has seen of the minivan smoking a viper). I am going to give anyone props that has a built up car thats done it right. That's like someone in a civic that was talking trash to me a while back with exhaust, saying he would whoop me because of the weight. This thread is old and dead...
scrming you blew an engine eh?? and people are asking me why im not running nitrous, hehh... Procharger eventually, but i wanna stay away from nitrous... maybe a 75 shot :)

V6 = slow.... compared to what? Stock it can run low to mid 15's. I have seen more than one Mustang GT's with the almighty V8's run in mid-16's! As you mentioned with a few simple bolt-on's a S197 V6 can run in the 14's... Search the GT sections of the different forums and you'll get V8 guys trying to break into the 14's...
I will admit it... at one point I was a V6 basher... gosh, some of them were dogs... but then again so were some of the V8's! The V6 will always be treated like a red-headed step-child... Not by everyone... 99% of the people are very very cool! But as Deezlenut pointed out there are people in this world that think V8 = invincible... LOL!
yeah.. I got stupid in April... 125HP shot at 2000RPM... making close to 500ft/lbs of Torque... OOPS!!! Broke the ring landing on piston #3... buy hey even on 5 cyclinders The Mistress ran a 14.0!!!! LOL!
Oh... you mention the trash talk... best one so far... I'm getting gas and a guy pulls up in a older F-150... He swears up and down he can take me!!! Why??? Because according to him "I put PREMIUM in this sona-bitch!" LOL!

l see everyone attacked me after my post.. so tell me which V6 driver can beat GT (stock for stock)?? every car can be made fast dude.. l gave examples above evos, srt-4s.. they got 4 cylinder but they are fast because of their forced inductions.. so how much money do you have to spend to beat stock GT? lets spend the same amount of money and see who is gonna kick whose ass!! or lets do the same mods to our cars and she who is gonna WHOOP whose ass!!

dude, so you are saying GT and v6 runs close times? l ahve seen BONE STOCK GT ran 13.3 how about that? as l said every car can be made fast but stock for stock, do not even COMPARE V6 vs GT!

all i can say is this. there are some nasty v6s out there that get no respect because of fanboys in their GTs. then, when they do whoop up on GTs, they still get no respect because the GT guy usually says "well if i had a blower i'd whoop your ass." **** that. i'll tell you what. if i took the money in cash that you paid for your car and bought my car and modded it with all tht money, i could run 11s. cause i would build that SH!T to make 500 hp. you buy your 06 GT and spend money to equal $30k and see if you can make that kind of power
