for the girl in the thread (my chauvinist response ) a 3 link is ur rear suspension, u have 2 lower control arms and one um... crooked one... that hold ur rear axle in place. I have a 4 link, so i have 2 lower and 2 upper (urs is better). and IRS is independed rear suspension. it sucks. so dont even bother learning about it. the swap i mentioned is swapping a solid rear axle in the rear to replace the IRS

ahhhhhhhhhhh. ok cool thanks. Was not sure about the irs thing either but was afiad to ask lol. It is cool that you are a gt owner and give our new v6es respect. That is really cool. My brother owns an 04 GT and is a complete jerk face about it!

the problem with dsm's in particular is that they can be anywhere in the speed spectrum. and i dont know what im looking at when i see inside anyway . but a turbo dsm can be from 16 sec to durn near 10. a kid in town here has a 1g tsi he claims is bone stock, but wont race me unless i bring 50 bucks to it....... friggin @*#*ing &!@%@er with a ^@(#^ @#&%!

haha, my mailman .... oh geez i gotta show u pics of his 3000gt. itd make you puke

fully built 3.4 stroker/bored motor, adjustable racing cams. ported turbos (or whatever hte proper term is for that, basically same casing, but rebuilt inside to be larger). The things a beast. 32psi twin turbo, AWD, not a single part on the car is stock except doors and what not (full body kit). Dynoed at 780whp. Yet, he never drives it, still sits at his house, never seen the track once. He spent over 60k modding the car, and hes afraid to drive it i think

Sucks for your friend, my friend has an 05 G35, Vortech @ 7lbs, 356 rwhp, Mid 12's... Did you mean your friend spent 33k in mods, or including car cost? Because my friend spent ~12k. Supercharger kit, pulleys, headers, exhaust, and a few other boltons... Then spent 4k on rims/tires, but that doesn't count.

Face it, the v6 mustangs aren't extremely quick, but they're faster than a good 85% of the other cars on the road.
